Hatching in Steal A Brainrot Egg is the whole tycoon loop compressed into one stand. You put an egg on the wooden crate, you survive the timer, and the game rolls a Brainrot, a size, and trait effects. Rarer rolls earn more coins. Bigger rolls earn more coins. The catch is the same rule every other guide repeats: that egg is stealable for the entire hatch, including inside your fence.

Place the egg on the crate

Buy or steal an egg, walk to your hatch stand, and use the on-screen interact prompt. Typical Roblox movement (WASD, jump, sprint on desktop) gets you there. The hatch does not start in your inventory. It starts when the egg sits on the crate. From that frame, the eight-player server is allowed to take it.

Face the open side of the fence after you place. The crate is low, voxel, and easy to lose behind a giant mascot if you leave the camera high. Controls covers looking down at the stand. If you walk away to shop, you are hatching in public with no defender.

Sit the timer like it is PvP

There is no private hatch phase. Treat every second as a steal window. Stand on or against the crate. Keep knockback ready. If someone dives, your job is to peel them off the stand, not to win a footrace across the lime grass. How to protect is the defense version of this paragraph.

If the lobby is stacked and you are holding a cheap Common, you can eat a loss and buy another $10 mystery egg. If you are holding anything the egg tier list would mark as a jackpot, you do not AFK. Rare eggs deserve a body on the crate.

Common mystery versus jackpot

Official art puts a Common mystery egg at about $10 next to a Mystic at one in 800,000,000. That contrast is the economy. Commons exist so you can finish a hatch, lock a printer, and fund the next roll. Mystics exist so eight people sprint. Most of your hatches should be the cheap ones. Most of your stress should be the rare ones.

Do not skip Commons because they look small. A finished Common is a Brainrot that cannot be stolen. An unfinished Mystic is a crowd. Income screenshots on the experience show small units around $100 per second and giant Brainrots claiming up to about $998,549,987 per second. You reach the giant numbers by stacking locked units, sizes, and traits — not by dying on the first lottery egg.

The hatch planner is useful when you can finally afford a risky egg: if a steal would erase an hour of income, defend it or do not place it. The tier list hub and Brainrot rankings tell you which pops are keepers after the timer.

What pops is random

Each egg rolls three things at once:

• Which Brainrot appears.
• How large it is.
• Which trait effects it carries.

Rarity of the egg changes the odds, not a guaranteed mascot. A Common can still roll a useful size. A rare egg can still pop small. That is why traits and sizes and best income sit next to this guide. Logging the pop in the Brainrot Index is how you notice you already own a better printer than the new name you are excited about.

Offline earnings after it locks

Once the timer finishes, the Brainrot is safe forever. The experience advertises offline earnings, so that unit should keep printing while you are away. That is the point of sitting a boring Common: you can leave Roblox and still grow. Eggs do not get that courtesy. If you disconnect mid-hatch, you left a stealable object on a public crate.

After the pop

Check size and traits before you spend the next bag of coins on another egg of the same type. If the unit is tiny, the next hatch may matter more than a shop upgrade you cannot verify. If the unit is huge, protect your ability to keep it — which means not rebirth-wiping a printer, and not ignoring launch notes if a patch changes hatch behavior.
